"When I Get Older" by Wild Party

Courtesy of Reddit. Some might say they’re typical indie rock, that they’re unoriginal and uninspired. Those people clearly don’t like fun.

My favorite scene from one of my favorite movies.

"He’ll crow. He’ll fight. He’ll fly. And then… he’ll die." - Captain Hook

Just beautiful.

"Loaded" by Primal Scream

"Just what is it that you want to do?"

"We wanna be free.
We wanna be free to do what we wanna do.
And we wanna get loaded.
And we wanna have a good time.
And that’s what we’re gonna do.
We’re gonna have a good time.

We’re gonna have a party.”

"I Won’t Be Afraid" by Sisyphus

I’ve been looking for Sufjan music for ages. Here we find him collaborating with Son Lux and Serengeti. Slow, brooding, and as always, melodic as fuuuuck.

"I don’t know, I think that if I could just accept the fact that my life is supposed to be difficult. You know, that’s what’s to be expected, then I might not get so pissed-off about it and I’ll just be glad when something nice happens."

Big Friend
My Neighbor Totoro bus stop scene is my favorite part of this film and then I added Tee Fury’s BioShock design to this iconic background and added in a rain effect. Awesome isn’t it?
You can get the shirt here / Background was found here

It’s about time we applied that Miyazaki whimsy to a mind-controlled dude beating his father to death with a putter.

"Was There Nothing" by Asgeir

Just revisiting an artist from last year. The sort of song that really makes you sit and think. Depending on your mood it may cause you to regret, or joyfully reminisce, or hope.

"Can’t Get Away" by Phil Beaudreau

It’s not an incredibly complicated song, but for whatever reason this specific chord progression makes this my favorite song of the past couple months. This album is full of cool jammy R&B electro/piano pop beats. Ether. Get it.

You won’t get away with your light on, cause they’ll chase you down, so you better get used to the dark.

"Salt" by Bad Suns

Some fun dancy popular rock! Bad Suns’ EP Transpose is totally wicked and has my full recommendation.

"It’s You" by The Boy & Sister Alma

Indie electric with synth and strings and harmony and sweeping vocals. Awesome.
